The "Villa Ponte Fassia" Residence is a historical villa erected around 1500. In the 17th century, Eart Settimio Becchetti started the planed tillage of the ground and the planting of various sorts of long-lived trees that still give shade. The Villa was restructured with great care in 1985.

The interiors
Glancing over the photographs you may not have missed the care given to the arrangement of the furniture. It is the same care that you will find in the finishings, the fittings, and the service. The apartments (4 to 7 bedplaces) are made up of two rooms each, a fully equipped kitchen with 12-people sets, Dishwasher and a modern bathroom. The Residence is open throughout the year. Winter heating and additional beds are available at small extra charge.

The "Villa Ponte Fassia", (formerly a 18th century convent) is 6 Kms south of Gubbio. Set among undulating hills and fields, surrounded by tamarinds and cypresses, with the only sound the song of birds by day, and by night the glow of fire-flies, it is an inland island of tranquillity and peace. "Villa Ponte Fassia" offers comfortables apartments, well furnished and equipped.
Not far away from Gubbio (6 km), with direct access to the towns of Perugia, Assisi, Urbino, Orvieto and Todi, and with the possibility of reaching Rome in two hours by train.

How to get Gubbio by road
For those coming from North: Motorway A14 Adriatica: leave the motorway at Cesena and take the trunk road "E 45" towards Perugia and leave at at the junction for Gubbio;
Or: leave Fano take the road "Flaminia" as far as Pontericcioli and turn into the road leadeng to Gubbio.
For those coming from Liguria and Toscana: Motorway A1 del Sole: Leave the motorway at Arezzo and reach Città di Castello and Umbertide by the trunk-road " E 45" at the junction for Gubbio.

Ci siamo sentiti molto a nostro agio; il riscaldamento funzionava bene, gli spazi erano ampi ed il personale è stato squisito. La cucina era attrezzata;la biancheria abbondante.

Abbiamo potuto constatare che il nostro soggiorno è stato piacevole e confortevole e adeguato a famiglie, che come noi, hanno bambini piccoli. La struttura infatti offre ampi spazi esterni, tra i quali la piscina, dove poter trascorrere piacevoli giornate. La vicinanza alla bellissima Gubbio a soli 5 Km. ci ha consentito di visitarla in più occasioni e la presenza di molteplici attività commerciali come supermercati, alimentari, ecc... ci hanno consentito degli approvviggionamenti giornalieri. Pensiamo proprio di ritornarci!!!
