The Location
Its being in the immediate proximity of Assisi and of the art cities of Gubbio, Spello, Montefalco, Perugia and others, offers the possibility of alternating moments of absolute relaxation with simulating visits to monuments, churches and museums of a hospitable, medieval Italy immersed in nature.
The Laude di Assisi is the fascinating name of an independent house from before the ‘800s, located in the Parco del Subasio 11km from Assisitowards Gualdo Tadino.
The villa has been recently restored according to the typology of the Umbrian rural tradition while completely respecting the pre-existing structure.
It is found at the interior of a 45.000 m2 property di green nature, trees, fields and culture.
At an altitude of nearly 650 mt. it dominates the surrounding valley facing the south toward MountSubasio and north toward the Castle of Porziano.

The owner of the villa loves to offer her guests a breakfast typical of the area:
- home-made cakes,
- tarts made with biological marmalades
(fruit not chemically treated),
- the rocciata umbra and il torcolo,
names given to a simple sweet cake.
For a little something salty:
- pecorino doc cheeses
- nostrano prosciutto
Plenty of teas of all kinds, such as green tea and Greek mountain tea.
Coffee is offered anytime of the day to guest of the villa.

Perfetta struttura per rilassarsi in compagnia della natura. Ottimo posto, poco al di fuori di Assisi che ci ha permesso di girare in lungo e in largo, per quel che il tempo ci ha potuto offrire, l'umbria. Arrivederci alla prossima vacanza!
