Resort & SPA Beauty Fram Trasimeno is situated on the borders of Umbria and Tuscany on the gently rolling hills among the vineyards and centuries-old olive.
The current owners, Signora Roberta Baseggio and Dr. Enrico Sorrentino, have lovingly restored the ancient monastery, once home to the Olivetani monks from San Secondo on Polvese Island, and now welcome guests to this special place, periodically organising meetings and training courses.

Resort & SPA Beauty Farm Trasimeno welcomes it’s guests in 14 double Superior/Deluxe bedrooms, all complete with private bathrooms and other additional services such as: mini bar, hairdryer, telephone and TV satellite. All bedrooms are dislocated in renovated ambients where the monks use to live in the past, therefore the guests can enjoy a quiet and private stay. Each bedroom maintains the peculiarity of the old times while the interiors are characterized by different textures such as silk and linen.

Where we are:

The Resort & SPA Beauty Farm Trasimeno is situated on the site of an Olivetani Brotherhood monastery. The Brotherhood originated in San Secondo on Polvese island. The resort includes a small, deconsecrated chapel with a vaulted ceiling, dating back to 1495. Known in ancient times as "Saint Mary of the Pines", it was home to Francesco Della Robbia's "Madonna with Child", a work that can now be found in the church of Sant'Ansano in Petrignano del Lago.
An ancient text refers to the chapel being constructed on a site that was "... famous for miracles..." indicating that once upon a time something miraculous or extraordinary occurred there. The area belonged to the monks and was used principally as a Benedictine hostel, complete with sleeping quarters, and a small monastery or cenoby, where a small community lived and cultivated the land.
After the suppression of the Olivetani monks in 1833 the church’s property was passed on to the Camaldolesi monks, who sold it to private buyers.

The Resort offers  a relaxing SPA where guests can indulge in to the wonderful atmospheres of the old Monastery while dedicating time to professional treatments and to a complete relax. The SPA in fact includes: 4 massage cabinets, 1 Turkish bath, 1 Finnish Sauna,  a solarium, a fitness and relax area. It is as well possible to choose from a vast list of beauty treatments for body and face, as well as different oriental massage techniques meant for a complete well-being.

The monastery was restored around six years ago, and the areas within the complex were restored with various uses in mind.
