The hotels are different from Motel because most motels have the entrance to the rooms directelyfrom the outside, while hotels tend to have interior entrances to increase security for customers and create an environment more comfortable.
When you enter a hotel:
The reception desk is located in a conspicuous area of the hall where the contacts take place between staff and guests. This counter is a real area that provides support for the policies and procedures governing entry, stay and departure of guests.
This area is connected through an opening, with the main office accessible only to staff and is used as the headquarters of the hotel and management of tourism enterprises. Staff shall always enter the hotel through a private entrance and have there own area with changing rooms, bathrooms and storagerooms.
Internal areas of a hotel:
The internal common areas are planned for recreational activities (living room, reading, TV, relax, entertainment, games, sports, etc..), Sociocultural (conferences, seminars, screenings, etc..), Work (meetings, exhibitions, fairs, etc.)..
Bar area of a hotel:
The bar area includes a counter for the distribution of products, the chair (or armchairs) and tables for the comfortable stay of the guests
Dining room/Restaurant of a hotel:
The dining-room or restaurant of the hotel is often connected directly with the hall/lobby and is often positioned close to the Congress or to the bar. Sometimes, if the hotel is located in an urban area the hotel doesn´t have a restaurant of it´s own but there are severeal conventioned restaurants outside the hotel, while for hotels located in the countryside, away from urban centers, the presence of the restaurant is vital.
Large kitchen of a hotel:
The large kitchen is ment for the preparation of foods and is formed by four areas: storage, preparation, cooking and washing. The entry of raw materials must always come through a special entrance. Between the operational area and the diningroom there must be a intermediate space/room usually used to store towels, tablecloths and other equipment of the restaurant. This space also serves to protect the restaurant from the noise and in case of kitchen fire
The lobby of a hotel:
The lobby allows guests to go directly to the main areas of the hotel. Between the outside and the hall there is a space that fills the functions as an intermediate atrium from the entrance hall and protects from external temperature ranges. To facilitate the entry the two doors of the Exchange shall be automatic and should open by making lateral movements. An alternative solution is the use of the revolving n (spinning) door.
The hotelrooms:
* Bed-aerea
*desk area / toilet which includes a table with chair, mirror (to reflect the whole picture of person), television and mini bar with appetizers and drinks (paid at the end of the stay), and everything you need to make yourself a nice cup of tea or coffee (cups, spoons, an boiler and instant coffee, tea, sugar, milk and lemon juice).
