Monuments in Cesenatico:
Cesenatico has an excellent port-channel built in 1500 from an original design by Leonardo da Vinci. The intention of Da Vinci and the small town at the time,was to, with this channel, reach the city of Cesena, located inland about 15 km from Cesenatico.

Sports in Cesenatico:
On 25 May 1999 eleventh part of the cykel-competition "Giro d'Italia" ended in Cesenatico with the vinner Ivan Quaranta.
