The Hotel La Mattonata in Assisi is located in Umbria in a particularly quiet and privileged position
because it is near Assisi's center (15 minutes by foot or 5 minutes by bus) and it is also surrounded by a wonderful park (about 28.000 sqm).
The building overlooks the well famous "St. Francis's Brick Road" and is situated between the Basilica of St. Maria degli Angeli and the town of Assisi.
From the Hotel la Mattonata in Assisi you can admire a stunning view, either on the ancient medieval village or the green surrounding landscape.
The original house with its gorgeous "Assisi Stone" fore wall, used to be a convent of the Oblati Fathers.
Recently the competent and careful refurnishment left the previous charme unspiled, althought the improvements with some modern comforts and services have increased the House natural skills towards hospitality, in order to fulfil any expectation of the clients.
The Hotel la Mattonata provides:
25 comfortable big rooms that can host up to 78 guests.

We have all type of room: single, double room, family room and multiple room.
Most of the rooms have a private balcony overlooking St.Maria degli Angeli or the wide
plains around the village or the town of Assisi with St. Francis' Convent.
The Hotel also offers a Lounge Bar and a typical cuisine Restaurant from 100 sits indoor, to 300 sits in the outdoor area which can be used for ceremonies and all kinds of banquets as well.
A large 300 sits is at client disposal, for convention and meeting requests.
Accomodation for pets will be provided in some appropriate boxes supplied by the Hotel.
As additional service a private garden and a vast parking area for cars free for the Hotel Clients.

abbiamo avuto un'ottima impressione dela struttura. dalla cortesia ed attenzione del personale già dal primo impatto a tutti gli stessi ambienti camera da letto sala da pranzo e da colazione attenzione del personale nei nostri confronti ed alla fine una ottima cucina. la struttura ha di bello anche che ha un bellissmo parco ed è vicinissima al centro di Assisi pur essedo meravigliosamente immersa nel verde.
