La Villa, also called La lla is a quiet resort in the South Tyrol, inhabited mainly by people who speak the ladin language, too, surrounded by beautiful woods and trails of international renown.
The Gran Risa, which hosts every year the giant slalom World Cup, goes just down from Piz la Ila up to the little town. From Piz la Ila you can route to Corvara and then log on to the Sella Ronda circuit, always with skis of course. The Villa also offers the opportunity to ski in the opposite direction down the Val Badia to the quite caracteristic Pedraces.

The resort also offers another ski tour much that also is  quite interesting, that of the Great War that goes so far as to pass through Alleghe and Arabba and several other locations such as Malga Ciapela, some parts of the tour are made by bus. Unfortunately there are not som many night-life attractions but all one needs to do is to get to the nearby town of Corvara to find basically anythning you might need.

The Villa is part of the town of Badia. For the past 15 years the famous Gran Risa hosts World Cup competitions. In winter, La Villa is a meeting point for all ski lovers, while in summer the town is surrounded by idyllic silence, peace and quite.

The town's name derives from the Ladino language (La Ila or Iles or in the plural) used historically to describe the single-family homes of the local peasants and farmers.

Among the tourist attractions there is the Castel Colz, a Renaissance castle called by the inhabitants of La gran Ciasa.

As we have already mentioned the place traditionally hosts each year in December, the race of the World Cup alpine skiing on the Gran Risa slope, which goes down the slopes of Piz La Ila all the way down to the country, and here is held a giant slalom race for men and the place also hosted the sevesral Women's World Cup skiraces.

A La Villa there is an aviation school that offers courses lasting one week and courses for beginners. This will make it possible to admire the magnificent valley from flying a hang glider.
