The coast of Conero is the heart of The region Marche.
It is only 10 km from the capital Ancona,  110 km from Rimini , 330km from Rome and 520 from Milan. 

The highlights are:
Portonovo, the charming Sirolo-bay, middleage village overlooking the sea in Numana, piceno  Piceno-port and theMarcelli - beach

Different from any other Italian landscape, rich in perfumes and ancient stories, the river hits us for  the extraordinary natural harmony of the landscape.

The territory of the promontory overlooking the coast of Conero very varied: rocky and rugged in some places, soft sand lots of modern facilities in others.
Since 1987, this paradise of nature has become a Regional Park.

Enchanting are the shades of colors of this Mediterranean area in the spring,  with the flowering  of the broomflower, and in autumn, with the warm colors of the arbutus.

The Coast of Conero is reached frommost of the more important border crossing points and the main motorway exits.

BY TRAIN
The Coast of Conero is provided with the Milan-Lecce railway , which links northern Italy with all the Adriatic side and the line Roma-Falconara.
To reach the locations of the coast that do not have the railway station (Portonovo, Sirolo, Numana and Marcelli), you must exit at Ancona (15 km away) or Porto Recanati (about 5 km away) and take the bus or taxi

BY PLANE
Airport "Raffaello Sanzio" Ancona - Falconara
Company: Alitalia via Milan, via Rome, from all over the world, Lufthansa, Air Dolomiti, by Monaco of Bavaria, from all over the world, from London Stansted Ryanair.
The airport is about 30 km from the locations of the coast and 10 km from the station of Ancona. At the airport you can rent a car.
The areas of the coast are directly reachable by taxi. Another solution is to get to the trainstation in Ancona by train (which you take in the small station Castelferretti in front of the airport) or by bus: line J with Conerobus
From the station in Ancona you can then take bus or taxi.
Several facilities, however, offer the transport service to / from the airport.

From the train station in Ancona and Porto Recanati you can reach the places of the coast by bus. With the bus reaching Sirolo Reni, Numana, Marcelli, Porto Recanati and the inland.
For Portonovo, take line 94, Conerobus.
With buses you can also reach other inland locations such as Osimo, Loreto, Castelfidardo, Offagna.
