An elegantly renovated 18th C. country villa immersed in the green Umbrian hills overlooking the Spoleto valley; set in olive groves and park gardens its estate includes a cool, mature holm-oak woodlamd area and natural water source.
The Villa’s unique beauty has been immortalised on cinema sets while offering hospitality to film directors, producers and actors including Charles Aznavour, Malcolm Macdowell, Andrea Ferreol, Bruno Rubeo to name a few have enjoyed its hospitality.
The estate surrounding The Villa reveals unexpected delights: attractive secluded corners for outdoor reading, a swimming pool and jogging track.
For nature and horse lovers it is possible to take advantage of the facilities offered by the riding school with which there is an arrangement, trekking or rambling or mountain biking in the wonderful high hills either following recognised trails or accompanied by local guides.
Pool includes on-the-spot changing room, bathroom and shower amenities.
The seven hectares of the Villa's olive groves produce the well-known DOP certified extra-vergin olive oil: Colli Assisi-Spoleto.
The privileged position of the Villa allows the guests to visit the easily accessible art centres of Spoleto, Montefalco, Spello, Assisi, Foligno, Bevagna, Perugia, Cascia and Todi in minimal time. The Villa is approached through automatic gates; there is also secluded parking for vehicles.
Trevi centre (1,5km.) is a leisurely 20 min. walk through the estate; a large chain supermarket is 3kms. away.
Rome and Florence are a mere two hours away by car or train.
Early booking would ensure a block reservation if required.
There is no restaurant on the premises, but guests can be advised of the excellent variety in and around Trevi, with their typical specialities, satisfying even the most refined palate.
It is also possible to book the villa for gastronomical events where chefs will reveal the excellence of the local oil and truffle besides the typical 'black' celery Trevi specialities.
