Residence Dimora Storica, opposit to Santa Maria Maddalena church and at only 20 m from the main square, is one of the most important historical buildings in Castiglione del Lago.
It was built in 1500 and lastly renovated in 2004/2005, when it was opend to public with 3 elegant apartments and 2 Imperial Suites with a splendid roof terrace overlooking Lake Trasimeno.
All guests who stay at Palazzo Barbini will have free access to the large swimming pool (20 x 7 mt) at Casale Baldelli and all the other facilities the farmhouse offers. Casale Baldelli is in the surrounding countryside, 2,5 km away.
Close to the Residence, opposit to the Palazzo Ducale and to the medieval fort that belonged to the marquis Ascanio della Corgna, there is the Depandance, called "Palazzo del Cardinale".

Camera bellissima, il camino e l'idromassaggio per due spettacolare. abbiamo mangiato in una locanda, di notevole qualità ad un prezzo giusto. Nel complesso, palazzo e camera bellissima.

La dimora crea una buona atmosfera, anche considerando il contorno di Castiglione che è veramente notevole. La cortesia e la disponibilità del gestore sono eccezionali, veramente da consigliare in coppia se si vuole un week end romantico fuori dal comune.

un posto davvero meraviglioso una suite davvero magnifica se volete stupire la vostra donna ve la consiglio..... Io personalmente ci tornerò molto presto !!!

Sono stata alla Dimora Storica dal 7 al 9 gennaio 2011 nella suite Dino. E' stato un bel fine settimana, la suite è molto grande, carina e con un romantico camino, l'unico problemino lo abbiamo avuto con la vasca idromassaggio 2 posti...ci ha fatto un pò penare. Il palazzo si trova proprio al centro del borgo di Castiglione del Lago...un luogo spettacolare con un panorama da sogno, sul lago Trasimeno. Il proprietario Mario è stato molto cortese e disponibile. Consigliato per week end romantici e per buoni intenditori di vino...

Io ho allogiato alla dimora storica di Castiglione del Lago ed è un posto fantastico e lo consiglio a chi vuole tranquillità, a chi vuole scappare anche per soli due giorni dalle città caotiche, dallo stress e devo dire che è anche molto, ma molto romantico!
